Interview on Famous Californian Singer Oktayne

K M Rehan Salahuddin: We all know that you are from California and are very famous. Would you please kindly share the story that why or how have you became a musician?

Oktayne: My story is very common; it’s like the Michael Jordan basketball dream. I always wanted to rap and I would practice every night till I got better in the late night hours. I was the opposite all the kids wanted to play hoop and I wanted, now they want to rap and I feel like a leader because of that.

K M Rehan Salahuddin: What was the primary motivation or inspiration to choose rap/hip-hop as the genre?

Oktayne: I wanted to put my poetry to music; I didn’t want to settle for spoken word. Every since I started rapping I never looked back full speed ahead I am going. Motivation is hearing a awesome beat that fits what I’m trying depict or make.

K M Rehan Salahuddin: What is the procedure for you to prepare one song? Some singers write the lyrics, some do the tune, what about you, what is your involvement in creating a new song?

Oktayne: I listen to who inspires me for about two hours and then I write a song within an hour or less.

K M Rehan Salahuddin: It seems that you are not only a singer but also have the creative and awesome effective musical mind to do a lot of things to give your own song the first class touch, how did you achieved these abilities?

Oktayne: I have an ear for music, so people say that when pick productions, the instrumentals are very good. The beats drive the topics and let my words shine through.

K M Rehan Salahuddin: Let’s talk about your album; we want to know about your first album. Can you please share the story of recording and publishing the first album?

Oktayne: First off let’s talk Self-Explanations; this album I put out with no kind of promotion, no advertising and it’s a learning process about the game. I made myself very good at doing songs about women, and it is something I have pride in.

K M Rehan Salahuddin: What about the shows, do you go around the country to attend shows? Are you interested in visiting Asian countries and attending shows?

Oktayne: I don’t really go to shows as much as I should. I want to perform in Asian countries forget just attending.

K M Rehan Salahuddin: What can we expect from you in future? Is there any special song you are going to release? Would you like to say something to your fans?

Oktayne: I have four solo projects, and one of the projects that are done which is my new album Feature Presentation. I have the FLU Media compilation dropping before 2013 spring. Fans get my new album Feature Presentation July 25^th online and physical copies will be available in August. Stay with me in my journey to success.
